He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronnie Sparks and Janice Summers Sparks; and his brother Michael Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly DeYoung Sparks; his stepchildren, Aimee Smith (Ricco Sanders) of Lyman, Dale Smith of Charlotte and Eli Smith (Breahna Mills) of Duncan; and his grandchildren, Andre Gaston, Sage Gaston, Brently Smith and Parker Williamson.
