It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Cooley (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicodemus E. Cooley and Lela Phillips Cooley. He is survived by: his children, Greg Cooley of Greenville, Scott Cooley (Tanya) of Chesnee, Harold Wade (Debbie) of Greer, Tony Wade (Ruth) of Greer, Jeff Wade (Michelle) of Greer, Sherrill Schaefer (Bruce) of Murrells Inlet and Debbie Parham (Darrell) of Greer; and his siblings, Wilton Cooley of Belton, Charles Cooley of Waterloo and Virginia King of Simpsonville. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
