He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Roy and Evelyn Alice Quinn Jones; his wife Peggy LaDon Deshields Jones; his daughters, Latasha Pruitt (Aaron) of Inman and Ladonna Manis (Scott) of Spartanburg; his stepchildren, Tanga Moody (Tim) of Greer and Craig Allen (Sherry) of Lyman; and his sister Linda Jones. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
