With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Wood (Greer, South Carolina), born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Wood and Hulda Shook Wood; his son Terry Alexander; and his siblings, Humphrey Wood, Earl Wood, J. W. Wood, Alma Hutto, Ruth Sightler and Leliamae Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Mae Thrasher Wood; his children, Amey Leonard (Timmy) of Anderson, Becky Wood of Greer, Vickie Brooks (Steven) of Lyman, Janice Alexander of Greer and Billy Joe Alexander of Greer; and his brother Turner Wood of Woodruff. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
