He is survived by : his siblings, John Gales of Hamer, Lee Gales (Peggy) of Hamer, Tommy Gales (Kathy) of Riverdale, Ann Monahan (Clyde) of Dillon and Mary K. "Cookie" Gales of Hamer; his nephew Thomas Wilson Gales; his nieces, Dana Watford, Heather Watford and Kate Monahan; and his great-niece Leah.
