It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Godwin Lee (Hamer, South Carolina), born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Winfred Olin Godwin and Mary McMillan Godwin; and her husband Charles R. Lee. She is survived by : her children, Rev. Charles Russell Lee, Jr. (Marilyn) of Harrisonburg, VA, Linda Lee Carmichael (Charlie) of Yorktown, VA, Floyd McMillan "Mac" Lee (Joy) of Dillon, SC and Patrick Godwin Lee (Cindy) of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Miller (Jeff), Matthew Lee (Teresa), Daniel Carmichael, Sally Carmichael, Melody Weatherford, Richard Lee (Karen), Carrie Lee and Chloe Lee; her great grandchildren, Baylee, William, Maisy Miller, Abigail King, Marshall, Noah, Asher and Rayne Lee; and her great great grandchild Jameson Lee.
