We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2024, at the age of 101, Mattie Kizer Mizzell of Harleyville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Woodrow Mack Mizzell; her children, Melvin P. Mizzell, Julian H. Mizzell, Logan F. Mizzell and Elaine M. Lantz; and her son-in-law Bob Lantz.

She is survived by : her son Marion W. Mizzell (Linda); her daughters-in-law, Brenda Taylor (Mike) of St. George and Patricia Mims (George) of St. George; her grandchildren, Scott Mizzell (Barb), Tony Mizzell, Stacey Mizzell, Julie Mizzell, Michael Taylor (Mae), Gary Mizzell (Suzanne), Jeffrey Mizzell, Lee Taylor (Veronica), Jason Lantz (Kari) and Kristen Robertson (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Austin, Hayley of Sybil, T. J, Logan Von Ohsen (Bubba), Claire Kelly, Aiden Wren Robertson, Mattie Grace, Caroline Lantz, Owen M. Bookhart, Andrew and Peyton Taylor.
