With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Hodges Mills (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her spouse R. Raymond Mills; her parents, John P. Hodges and Ola Johnson Hodges; and her siblings, James B. Hodges, Johnnie W. Hodges, Annie Grace and Beatrice.
She is survived by : her daughters, Annette Mills Traylor (Winston) of Asheville, NC and Janet Mills Sherman (Dickie) of Minturn, SC; her grandsons, Stewart E. Sherman (Stacey) of Dillon, SC and Ethan M. Sherman (Amy) of Minturn, SC; her great grandchildren, Keegan, Gabriel, Paige, Avery, Reuben and Aubrey Grace; and her close friend Jackie Harley. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, and extended family.
