It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edell Clanton Pinner (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Lydia, South Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raeford Lee Clanton and Fannie Lee Clanton; her husband Champ Dalton Pinner, Jr.; and her brothers, Lee of Harry, R. L. and Cecil Clanton.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Pinner Newsome (John L. Jr.) of Hartsville, Vickie Pinner Ferguson (Larry) of Hartsville and Champ Dalton Pinner, III (Kathy) of Charleston; and her grandchildren, John Leslie Newsome, III (Kim) of Hartsville, Dr. Jarrett Russell Newsome (Erica) of Columbia, Larry "Bo" Coleman Ferguson, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Columbia, Lynsey Ferguson Jordan (John) of Columbia and John Dalton Pinner of Charleston. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
