She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Wood and Pearl Wood; her husband McKendall "Kenny" Sturkie; and her siblings, Jerry Wood, O'Neil "Bubba" Wood and Cynthia "Cindy" Register.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Sturkie (Debora) of Darlington, Freddy Sturkie (Debbie) of Darlington, Melba Ann Register (Sarge) of Hartsville and Crystal Hatfield (Billy) of Hartsville; her grandchildren, Teressa Wright (Kelly), Ken Sturkie (Andrea), Christopher Sturkie (Amy), Candice Nealey (Brian), Sandra "Sassy" Wilds (Kelvin), Savannah Register (Marvin Commander), Harley Register (Brooke), Haley Register (Gavin Larymore), Robert Register (Kristy), Hartley Register and Haven Register; and her brothers, Ronnie Wood (Hilda) and Randy Wood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
