She was predeceased by : her parents, Sid Lee and Betty Jean Smith Tyner; and her siblings, Barbara Jean "Tootsie" Tyner Steen and Marvin Lee "Dick" Tyner. She is survived by : her husband Carl Moore; her daughter Carla Moore Branham of Lexington; her sister Kathy Tyner McFarland of Hartsville; and her close friend Cindy Boan Freeman of Hartsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Darlington County Humane Society at PO Box 1655 Hartsville, SC 29551.
