She is survived by: her husband Samuel Govan, Sr. of Orangeburg; her son Samuel Govan, Jr.; her grandchildren, Ezra Omari Govan and Angel Govan; her siblings, Nadine, Sonya, Pearl, Mary, Betty, Linda and Willie Marine; James and Shirley Hall. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
