With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley James Hodges (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert James and Sallie Coker O'Neal James; her husband James Earl Hodges; and her siblings, Charles James, Carson James, Voncille James and Bennie Lou Teal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christie Hayden (Bobby) and Jamie McLeod (David); her grandchildren, Byron Hayden (Logan), Zachary Hayden (Taylor) and Hanna McLeod; her great grandchild Kyleigh Hayden; and her siblings, Coker James, Ronnie James, Ricky James, Rosa Lee Fales, Francis Wilks (Archie), Helen Mathis and Teresa Shaw (James).
