He is survived by: his mother Brenda Joyce Pope Owens; his children, Brandi Allen (Brian), Morgan Blackmon (Brian) and Charles Alton "CJ" Owens, Jr.; his grandchildren, Braxton Allen, Jaxson Owens and Addie Blackmon; his sisters, Brenda Lewis (Carey) and Stephanie Montgomery (Bub); his nieces, Ashley Montgomery, Alisha Lewis and Bailey Lewis; and his nephew Brock Montgomery.
