He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Estelle Springs Baxley; and his sisters, Mildred Lorrine Guerry and Billy Ann Burg. He is survived by: his adoptive parents, Bennie Springs and Lilly Tanner Springs; his wife Minnie Bell Morris Springs; his daughters, Kathy Porter (Bill) and Tammy Springs; and his grandchildren, Adam Porter (Abbie) and Bridgette McConnell (Joey).
