It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gordon Snowden (Hemingway, South Carolina), born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Virginia Wilson Snowden; his brother Walter; and his sister-in-law Dot Snowden. He is survived by: his close friend Bill W.; his wife Linda Courtney Snowden; his daughter Susan McCutchen; his grandchildren, Trevor Barnhill (Anna), Christopher Barnhill (Madison) and Britton McCutchen; his great grandchild Evelyn Barnhill; his brother-in-law Bill Courtney (Sally); his nieces and nephews, Honorary, Jackie, Jane, Christian and Michael Anne Pennell; and his close friend Bubba Pressley.
