He is survived by: his wife Melody Lambert "Monk" Welch; his children, April Welch of Georgetown, Lori Welch Hammond (Kenny) of Georgetown and Allison Welch (Austin) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Davin and Bailee; and his sister Linda Ackerman (Wayne) of Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
