He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Rosa C. Gordon, Sr.; his siblings, Minnie Williams, Wilhelmina Fleming, Laura Chambers, Mary Scott, James Gordon Jr., Joseph Gordon and John Gordon; his daughter Joyce Flagler; and his son-in-law Tony Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeffrey Cokely, Sr. of Georgetown, SC, Angela G. Thompson of Chalan Pago, Guam, Katrina Gordon of Charlotte, NC, Tamara Gordon, Desiree Tomlinson, Crystal Gordon of Columbia, SC, Teresa Woodberry (Pernell), Dorothy Flagler (Randall Williams), Cassandra Dollard, Mildred Nelson (Sonny) and Arthur Flagler of Hemingway, SC; and his brother Eugene Sampson. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
