She was predeceased by: her husband James Edgar Rowe, Jr.; her father Gordon Detlaw; her pets, Janell Tyler Cribb and John Franklin Cribb; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Rowe Owens and Shelby Rowe Douglas.
She is survived by: her pet Avant; her children, James Edgar Rowe, III (Jay) of Surfside Beach, Gay Rowe Owens (Barry) of Hemingway and Erica Rowe Haddock (Dee) of Pawleys Island; her grandchildren, Tyler Olivia Owens of Murrells Inlet, Christian Cru Odis Owens of Florence, Zachary James Owens of Columbia, Juliana Rayne Owens of Hemingway, Henry James Haddock and Mary Clayton Haddock of Pawleys Island; her sisters, Claudia Owens (R. L.) of Charleston and Joan Ruth Cribb of Hemingway; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Tyler (Floyd) of Isle, Patsy Williams (Rubeth Earl) and Truitt Owens (Dot) of Hemingway. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
