It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Browder Cox of Hemingway, South Carolina, born in Johnsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Audry Morant and Essie Powell Browder; her siblings, Mildred Browder Hughes, Louise Browder Brown, Willa Browder Altman, Sheila Browder Parker and Horace L. Browder; and her foster brother C. V. Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Samra Stone Baxley (Don Barry); her grandson Don Barry Baxley, Jr. (Carlie); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth "Liza" Jo Baxley and Rose Marie Baxley; and her sister Erma Owens.
