It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Godwin Morris (Hemingway, South Carolina), born in Lake City, South Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Merritt E. Morris; and her brothers, H. E., Bill and Paul. She is survived by: her parents, James L. Godwin and Alice McAlister Godwin; her sisters, Leone Patrick, Uneda Lee, Ruby Lee Bullard, Bernice McCutcheon of Lake City and Harriet Sue Nelson (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach, S. C; her daughters, Merrinell Niemyer (Bert) of Mt. Pleasant, S. C., Loretta Reddish (Johnny) of Hemingway, S. C. and Amy Sparks (Randy) of Centerville; her grandchildren, Suzanne Donnelly (John), Beth Maynor (Clay), Tamara Coker (Rex), Patricia Reddish-Barriera (Jay), Merritt Sparks (Kayla) and Sydney Sparks; and her great grandchildren, Kasey Martin, Laurel Maynor, Keith Coker, Alexander Donnelly and Kate Donnelly.
