It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sybil Levell Dennis Avant (Hemingway, South Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Zeno Dennis and Vina McKenzie Dennis; and her sisters, Letha Floyd (Lanue) and Vernette McKenzie (McNeil). She is survived by: her children, Rocky Avant, Debbie Cox (Danny) and Mitch Avant (Michelle); her grandchildren, Daniel Cox, Julianne Gaster (Drew), Caroline Avant, Lucas Paquette, Blair Avant and Reagan Avant; her great grandchildren, Harrison, Ellison, Addison, Tristan, Landon and Adeline; her sister Dot Walker; and her close friend Jimmy Phillips. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
