He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James Lawrimore and Almead Pope Lawrimore; his wife Jocelyn Hollingsworth Lawrimore; his daughter Carolyn; his grandson Robert; and his siblings, Ruth Shaw, Iva Ridgill, Katie Fenters and Willie J. "Billy" Lawrimore, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Lawrimore (Susan) of Kingstree and James Lawrimore (Gay) of Johnsonville; his sister Jewel L. Newsome of Hartsville; his friend Annie Jo Altman of Hemingway; and his stepgranddaughters, Renee Mixon (D. J.) of Turbeville and Cherryl Ann Smith (Jamie) of Kingstree.
