He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward and Belvagene Wilson Willis. He is survived by: his brothers, Francis R. "Frank" Willis (Darlene), Thomas G. Willis and James E. Willis (Hope); and his nieces and nephews, Jay Frank Willis (Holly), Jan Causey (Jason), Beverly D. Owens (Justin) and James B. Willis.
