She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Carlson and Lynn Carlson; and her pet Tux. She is survived by: her siblings, David Carlson (Tara) of Arlington, VA, Paul Carlson (Dawn) of Marietta, GA, Janet Balmaceda of Bluffton, SC, Jennifer Davis (Mark) of Venetia, PA and Deborah Pirngruber (Willy) of Columbia, SC; her siblings' children, Steven Carlson (Nicole) of Atlanta, GA, Connor Carlson of Nashville, TN, Matthew Balmaceda of Bluffton, SC, Andrew, Evan Davis of Venetia, PA, Anthony Caywood, Aubrey and Aria Pirngruber of Columbia, SC; her cousin Nancy Gibbs (Justin) of Fort Huachuca, Arizona.; her close friend Rick Eldridge; and her boyfriend Ian Babbitt.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a private memorial for Susan.
