It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Hill Chassereau of Hollywood, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Hill and Susan Hill; and her grandson Stephen Allen Alexander. She is survived by : her daughters, Tara C. Mellis (John) of Bowman, SC, Robin C. Dulin (Donald) of Cottageville, Mary Alice C. Lowther of St. George, SC and Mildred Chassereau of St. George, SC; her brothers, James Newton Hill of Walterboro, SC and Jackson "Boots" Hill of Cleveland, SC; her grandchildren, John William Mellis, Blaine Victoria Alexander, Kara Ann Lowther, William E. Lowther, III and Georgia Leigh Beach; and her great grandchildren, Chance Mellis, Maci Mellis, Colby Alexander and Collen Alexander.
