She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Foley and Rebecca Orilla Suggs; and her children, Johnny Wade Brown, Jimmy Brown and Betty Jean Hickox.

She is survived by : her husband Orville Thomas (Richard); and her children, Larry Brown and Gail Brown McRae. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
