He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wesley Cagle, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Cagle; his brother John Wesley Cagle, Jr.; his sister-in-law Dian Cagle; and his nephews, John W. Cagle III, Anthony L. Burnette and Landon K. Powell.

He is survived by : his wife Kelly Cagle; his daughters, Jennifer, Nikki and Whitney; and his brother Mike Cagle (Sandy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
