It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Poteat (Inman, South Carolina), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Patricia Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Horne Pressley and Harold Pressley; her husband Marvin Edward Poteat; her children, Lori Fowler and Scott Poteat; and her sisters, Sue Wyatt, Myra Pressley, Crystal Hood, Barbara Parris and Samantha Pressley.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Poteat (Becky) of Boiling Springs and Eddie Poteat of Boiling Springs; and her brother Robert Pressley (Tracy) of Spartanburg. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
