He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Huggins Burnett and Kenneth Jackson Burnett; his sister Felicia Greer; and his granddaughter Nissa Miller. He is survived by: his wife Judy Burnett (Nicholson); his children, Karma Burnett of Cowpens and Neal Burnett of Inman; his brother Kenneth Burnett of Inman; his adoptive son Chase Wilson; and his grandchildren, Emma Tate, Noah Tate, Jonah Tate, Atticus Miller, Lukus Miller, Jace Miller, Lilliana Miller and Cayleigh Wilson.
