He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Childers and Frances Lucile Robertson Childers; and his son Kevin Childers. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Childers of South Carolina, Wade Childers (Nikki) of Cowpens, Caleb Childers of Inman, Jammie Chesney (Melissa) of Chesnee, Danny Chesney (Janet) of Woodruff and Candice Haroun (Enrique) of Campobello; and his brother Jerry Childers of Spartanburg. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
