It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Admiral Dewey Waters III of Irmo, South Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Admiral Dewey Waters Jr. and Mary Waters. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Waters; his son Admiral Dewey Waters IV "Adam" (Emily); and his sisters, Arleen Waters and Eva.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greenwood Genetics Center Foundation, 101 Gregor Mendel Circle, Greenwood, SC 29646.
