It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sawyer of Irmo, South Carolina, born in North, South Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wallace Connelly and Flossie Reed Connelly; and her husband James F. "Pete" Sawyer Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Catherine A. Sawyer of Irmo; and her sister Mary Lewis (Bob) of Ladson.
