We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2023, at the age of 88, Clyde Leroy Meares Jr. (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Leroy Meares, Sr. and Eva Marie Jaget; and his wife Frances Timberlake. He is survived by: his children, Strib Meares (Jean) of Columbia, MD, Beverly Hicks (Paul) of Wytheville, VA and Reverend Tim Meares of Rocky Mount, NC; and his granddaughter Kaitlin Meares. He is also survived by his many friends and especially by his family.
