She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Fletcher Jones and Annie Mae Julian Jones; her husband Robert J. Brittain; her son Joseph Norman Brittain; her grandson Frank Brittain; and her siblings, Julian Jones, James Jones and Sharon Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Doyle Maxwell Brittain of Alexandria, VA and Robert J Brittain, Jr. (Dianne) of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Robert J. Brittain, III (Cori), Matthew R. Brittain (Brooke) and Jacque Brittain; and her siblings, Ann Smith, Norman Jones, Charles Jones, Lee Jones, Mildred Mixon, Vickie Clary, Edith Pettigrew and Lynda Cauble. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
