She was predeceased by: her parents, Page Napoleon Derrick and Katie Lenora Chapman Derrick; her husband Elzie Dukes Hooker, Jr. (E. D.); her children, Joanne Dougherty (D. J.) of Milton, Washington, Cindy Watson (Doug) of Midlothian, Virginia, Dukes Hooker (Sandi) of Irmo, David Hooker (Cindy) of Chapin and Robert Hooker (Tony) of Gulfport, Florida.; and her siblings, Herman Derrick, John Derrick, P. K. Derrick, Margaret Bauknight, Aldaray McAndrews, Runette Still, Elizabeth Shealy, Mary Hipp and Olive Chapman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kimberly Fitzpatrick, Derrick Kestler, Joshua Watson (Laurel), Sarah Watson, Anna Watson, Mandy Hodge (David), Katie Rash (Dave), Sarah Dobbe (Derek), Matt Hooker, Christopher Hooker, Ryan Hooker (Brittany) and Lindsey Stone (Evan); her great grandchildren, Lily Watson, Lark Watson, Sylvia Dobbe, David Dobbe and Tristan Hodge; and her siblings, Vernon Derrick of Aiken, SC, Miriam Monts of Irmo, SC, Connie Bickley of Chapin, SC and Wanda Allen (Clint) of Irmo, SC..
