We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2022, at the age of 21, Joseph Michael Kaufmann of Irmo, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Carol Marie Hodge Kaufmann and John Eric Kaufmann; and his brothers, Joshua M. Kaufmann, Jacob A. Kaufmann and Jonathan T. Kaufmann. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations may be made to these foundations/organizations in Joseph's honor: The Holy Pursuit's Dream Foundation, organizations dedicated to finding cures and more effective treatments for Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis and Neuroendocrine Cancer, and also to organizations dedicated to rescuing and caring for homeless animals.
