She is survived by: her sisters, Octavia Epting Harmon (Claybourn) and Miriam Sherman (Gordon); her nieces, Sarah "Candy" Powell, Caroline Griffin and Melodye McCoy; her great-nephew Colson Powell; and her great-nieces, Sarah Grace Powell and Perrin Griffin.
