He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndon Prosser and Lurie Poston Prosser; his son-in-law Ron Winfrey; and his brothers, Ravenel Prosser and Franklin Prosser.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reynolds Prosser; his children, Barbara Prosser, Peggy Winfrey and David Prosser; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ekovich (Nick), Karen Lovette and Matt Prosser; his great grandchildren, Ardyn Lovette, Aubrey Lovette, Tanner Ekovich and Bryleigh Prosser; and his brother LaFonne Prosser.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Reformation Lutheran Church, 1118 Union Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
