She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Hayes and James Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Modzelewski, Sr.; her children, Dr. Joseph Modzelewski, Jr. (Christy), James Modzelewski (Lauren), Kathleen Richardson (Bobby) and Dr. Craig Modzelewski (Tenna); her grandchildren, Blake Richardson (Cassandra), Hailey Modzelewski, Billie Modzelewski, Penny Modzelewski, Erin Modzelewski, Tripp Modzelewski, Katie Hayes Richardson, Liam Modzelewski and Starr Jordan (Mike); her great grandchildren, Holten Hayes Richardson and Megan; and her nieces and nephews, Michele Lepre (Mike), Susan Angelico (Vincent), Michael Lapetina (Dina) and Melissa Depaola (Nick) of New York.
The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m. Temples Halloran Funeral Home will be accepting flowers, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the ASPCA.
