He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Billy Hayes; his wife Cherrie Hayes of Irmo; his children, Lisa Hayes (Ron) of Columbia and Kenny Hayes (Laurel) of West Columbia; his mother Emmy Hayes of Columbia; and his siblings, Kathy Seay (Bob) of Gilbert, Barbara Sheppard (Ron) of Columbia and John Hayes (Lil) of Chapin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
