He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Hallman and Ethel Rinehart Hallman; his son Larry Hallman, Jr.; and his siblings, Melba Price, Floy Taylor, Guy Hallman, Lois Waites, Reba Laflin and Charles Hallman.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his daughters, Debra Goings (Donald), Jerri Beth Hallman (Mary) and Laura Shaver Hast (Jamie Branham); his grandchildren, Vanessa McWhorter (Josh), Michelle Cox (Mathew), Travis Goings (Jaclynn), Melissa Moorer (Justin), Logan Hast and Ila Hast; and his sister Shirley Bundrick (Richard). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
