It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gates Chambers (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Macon, Mississippi, who passed away on August 21, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by her son, Rev. John Thomas Chambers and his family of Rock Hill, SC, and 8 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Remedy Baptist Church, 1905 W. Main Street, Rock Hill, SC, 29732 or Three Rivers Baptist Church, 7452 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
