It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Arthur Shields (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law George W. "Pepper" Ellisor; and his mother Theresa. He is survived by: his wife Renee; his children, Kevin and Gena; his siblings, Michelle Daw Wenz (Ed) of Charleston, SC, James Daw (Robben) of Mascoutah, IL and Sheryl Shields Bailey of Summerville, SC; his sister-in-law Sandy Ellisor of Irmo, SC; and his mother-in-law Janice Counts Ellisor of Irmo, SC.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jacob's Lutheran Women and also to St. Jacob's Lutheran Men's groups.
