With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Weed Martin (Irmo, South Carolina), who passed away on March 10, 2019 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Weed Martin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace A. Martin; her parents, Robert T. Weed (Talley) and Pearle Seigler Weed; and her brothers, Brady, Carl, Clyde and Fred Weed.

She is survived by: her son John Barr (Sherry); her stepchildren, Dickie Martin and Rose Martin Cater (Larry); her grandchildren, Wes Barr (Kieth) and Sherri "Alison" Johnson (Jim); and her sister Lorraine Shealy of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by her two great- grand-daughters and two great-great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials or donations be made to Salem United Methodist Church – Columbarium Fund, or a charity of one's choice.
