He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt S. Stokes and Cleo Blackwell Stokes; and his brother Willard K. Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy D. Stokes; his daughter Pam Taylor (Eric) of Greenwood, SC; his granddaughters, Erin Taylor and Lindsay Taylor; his niece Kim Chimenti (Michael) of Charlotte, NC; and his great-niece Carley Chimenti of Atlanta.
