He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace and Leola Huntley Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Smith Beasley; his children, John Wallace Beasley II of Bowden, Sidney H. Beasley of Irmo, Elizabeth Woodley of Columbia, Deborah Shaw of Montgomery, Ala., Rebecca Horn of Wetumpka, Ala. and Tabitha Keeler of Columbia; his grandchildren, Megan Burton (Brian), Adam Woodley, John Beasley III, Ben Beasley, Joshua Horn, Jesse Horn, Rachel Shaw, Brian Shaw Jr. (Crystal), Jessica Shaw, Paul Keeler, Eric Keeler, Sydney Beasley and Jacob Beasley; and his great grandchildren, Asher Shaw and Cooper Burton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Children's Home in Duncan, S.C. or Palmetto Bible Camp in Marietta, S.C.
