It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Bennett of Iva, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Wood and Betty Wood; her former life partner Donnie Williams; her son Richard Williams; and her sister Gail Smith.

She is survived by : her husband Tony Bennett; her daughters, Angela Hardy (David) and Rachael Sullivan; her daughter-in-law Connie Williams; her siblings, Greg Wood, Judy Williams, Lynn Carey and Hollie Turner; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn (Caitlyn Sullivan), Brittany Burdette (Chris), Heather (Dylan Grant), Davie Hardy and Nicholas (Madison Williams). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Due to concerns with Covid-19, private family services will be held.
