He is survived by: his children, Desmond McKelvey and Elder Daniel McKelvey (Elder Kesha); his grandsons, Joshua McKelvey and Daniel McKelvey, Jr.; his partner OClelia Smalls; his siblings, Elijah Fludd, Jr. (Anna Mae), Julia Fludd (Priestly) of Washington, John McKelvey (Marilyn), Pauline McKelvey Ladson (James Herman), Henry McKelvey and Benjamin McKelvey; and his siblings-in-law, John H. Jenkins, Sr., Franklyn Ladson, Gloria Fludd and Rosemary McKelvey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
