He is survived by: his wife Patricia Amerson Hoppmann; his daughter Shannon Jackson (Brett); his grandchildren, Christopher and Sarah; his daughter Heather Marlowe (Brian); his grandson Harrison; his son Louis Joseph Hoppmann III; and his siblings, Linda Wilkens, Karen Harris and Timothy Hoppmann. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407).
